Welcome to the Pepper Box Inn, Ulcombe

A beautiful pub nestled away in the Kentish countryside between Ashford and Maidstone

Welcome to our family run, traditional pub in the heart of the Kent countryside. We specialise in well kept Shepherd Neame ales, lagers and wines and fresh, seasonal food.

Located a short distance from Leeds Castle on the Greensand Way and the South Eastern Toll Ride, we are in an idilyc spot and are happy to accommodate groups.

There are outstanding views of the Weald of Kent from the large hop covered terrace and in the colder months, comfortable leather sofas next to large inglenook fireplaces.

Run by the same family since 1958 we offer an experienced warm welcome to customers old and new.

We're not a very big pub but we do get very busy. If you are planning on coming we always recommend giving us a call in advance to ensure you get a table!

The Pepper Box Inn is located just outside the village of Ulcombe on Windmill Hill between Sutton Valence and Lenham

Set high on the Greensand Ridge, the pub is a popular stop-off point for walkers and riders.

The pub sits on one of the greatest vantage points in the county, overlooking the Weald of Kent, with outstanding views across the Kent countryside.
